Course Description
This five-week workshop consists of 10 hours of synchronous learning conducted via weekly 2-hour webinars, self-guided pre-work, and 10 hours of application coaching exercises. In this training, you will focus on Emotional Intelligence (EI) including when and how to use assessments in the coaching experience. You will learn about the role of EI in coaching. You examine EI and several other coaching assessments to gain familiarity and an understanding of when each assessment is appropriate for coaching. Specifically, you make consider tools such as the Wheel of Life, Personality Type, DISC, EI, TPI, Strengths, and other assessments designed for the professional, academic, and coaching setting. You will also examine ethical considerations associated with using assessments in the coaching relationship.

Week 3: Introduction to Assessments
Week 4: Personality and Preference Assessments; Effective Communication; Leadership Styles
Week 5: Ethics and Assessments
Learner Outcomes
After successful completion of this course, the learner will be able to:
